I use the mouse with my right (or left) hand only and wonder if I should switch to the other hand.

Quite a few people successfully switch mouse use to their non-dominant hand. The benefits are several:

  • Frees up the dominant hand for writing.
  • For right handers switching to the left side frees up the keyboard10-key pad for use with the right hand while the left hand controls the mouse.
  • Spreads hand use more evenly across both hands.
