I have to take notes when I am on the telephone and/or keyboard.

Most people will tend to hold the phone between the ear and shoulder to free up the hands to take notes or to type at the keyboard.

 Result is an awkward and out of neutral head and neck position.

Headset

Obtain a telephone headset to allow hands free operation. Once you get used to having your hands free it can make all the difference in the world! Check out the Telephone section for more details.

Speaker phone

Another option, if you have it available is to use the speaker phone for hands free telphone use.
