Chair

My feet don't touch the floor when I sit at my desk.

It is never acceptable to have your feet dangling when seated.

Typically it is the result of a mismatch between your stature and your worksurface height - you raise the chair up to get your hands high enough to reach the worksurface and end up lacking foot support.

Circulation is reduced into your lower extremities. Without good foot support you also don't have good support for your back.

Learn about your chair

Use the Chair Guide to see if your specific chair is listed to learn about its features, how to adjust it and to determine if it meets your needs.

MOST CRITICAL POINT!

Your goal is to provide good support for your feet while making sure your have hands at the correct height in relationship to your worksurface. How you accomplish this correct relationship depends on one critical point - Can you adjust the height of your work surface?
