Worksurface (desk)

Problem

Tips

Corrective Action

My desk seems to be too low or too high.

One of the primary goals of ergonomics is to help you establish the correct relationship between yourself and the worksurface.

Too low and you end up having to scrunch down to reach the worksurface.

Too high and you end up having to raise your arms and shoulders uncomfortably to reach the worksurface.

Positioning yourself at the correct relationship with your worksurface may be as simple as adjusting your chair or it may involve actually changing the height of your worksurface.
