Keyboard

Problem

Tips

Corrective Action

When keying I tend to "anchor" my wrists on the keyboard wrist rest and bend my wrists side-to-side to reach the keys.

Forcing your hands side-to-side to key can be uncomfortable for your wrists.

Proper Position

First make sure you have your keyboard properly positioned.

Support not Anchor

A keyboard wrist rest is beneficial. Get into the habit of using it for support of your arms when you are NOT actually keying.

When you are keying, work on making a habit of floating your hands side-to-side on the keyboard .

I need to properly position my keyboard.

I need to order a keyboard wrist rest.

I need to work on changing the habit of how I use the wrist rest.
