Footrests

Problem

Tips

Corrective Action

I tend to wear different shoe heel heights - sometimes my feet touch the floor and sometimes they don't.

Different heel heights make a difference how you set-up your chair and workstation

A 1" heel compared to a 4" (or more!) heel needs to be taken into account.

Work shoes

Some people have a pair of shoes they leave under their desk and slip them on when at the computer and workstation.

Fine Tune Set-up

Another option is to take the time to readjust your chair's seatpan height based on your heel height. (Recall this will also place your hands at a different height that may not be suitable for your desk height.)

Based on your situation make the modification that makes the most sense to you.
