Tips

Size

The Aeron comes in three sizes: A, B and C and needs to be the right size for you.

Refer to the Aeron Size-Fit Chart

You can also refer to the Chair Checklist to determine if the chair is the right size for you.

Lumbar Support - Position

The lumbar support can be slid up and down to provide support for the inward curve in your lower back. Use your navel as a guide post - the greatest depth of the lumbar curve is directly opposite your navel. That is where you want to position the lumbar support.

Lumbar Support - Thickness

The lumbar support has two thicknesses. Pull it all the way up and out, flip it over and reinsert it.

Rocking Tension

The control for the seatpan tension when the chair is in the rocking chair mode may need to be turned 30 to 40 turns before you get the desired tension.

Clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen.

Armrest Height

Loosen the armrest by turning the knob COUNTERCLOCKWISE (remember the old saying "rightsie-tightsie, leftsie-loosie") or for some Aerons by releasing the lever.

Move the armrest up or down by sliding it in the slot - if you push down/pull up on the armrest itself it won't slide easily.

Remember to tighten the armrest once adjusted.
