My mouse doesn't have a scroll wheel and I wonder if I need one.

Prior to the advent of the mouse scroll wheel you had to "click and drag" the scroll bar to scroll in a document.

This added to hand stress to maintain the mouse click as you dragged the mouse.

If you have an older style mouse without a scroll wheel out recommendation is to update the mouse to one with a scroll wheel.

Zoom feature

Hold the CTRL key down on the keyboard as you scroll the wheel and in most software you will "zoom" the view size on the monitor. This will make it much easier to read smaller text.
